Our mission is to support and empower teenage girls on their journey to young adulthood through impactful mentorship, self-empowerment, and building healthy relationships.

Our History
She Academy was founded in 2019 by Shaqualyn Shedrick with a passion for supporting girls as they grow into confident, self-aware, and purpose-driven young women.
Rooted in the values of Service, Honesty, Integrity, and Passion (S.H.I.P.), She Academy began as a bold idea and has grown into a trusted space for teen girls in grades 6–12 to build sisterhood, confidence, and leadership through mentoring and life-skills programs in Tallahassee.
These values remain at the heart of everything we do as we continue to support and empower the next generation of changemakers inside and beyond our community.
Life Skills
Equipping our girls with everyday tools to navigate school, work, and relationships with confidence and ease.
Emotional Intelligence
We teach our girls to name their feelings, communicate their needs, and handle conflict with confidence & grace.
Mentorship
Every girl is paired with a trusted adult who sees her, hears her, and walks with her through life’s transitions.
Confidence
From shy to shining, our girls learn to speak up, try new things, and believe they belong in every room they enter.
Community & Sisterhood
At She Academy, we cultivate more than sisterhood- we nurture future leaders. Our mentoring programs support teen girls in grades 6–12 as they build confidence, emotional intelligence, life skills, and real-world tools to thrive in school and beyond.
Boss Babes learn to manage emotions, build healthy relationships, speak up for themselves, and dream without limits.
We celebrate individuality, resilience, and leadership by creating a safe, affirming space where girls grow into their fullest selves. Through after-school programs, workshops, and community experiences, She Academy empowers them to show up confidently and unapologetically—discovering not just support, but who they are becoming.
